Master Jin graduated from Yong In University, a renowned martial arts institution in Korea. Holding a 6th dan black belt, he trained under the Korean National team for 7 years as a half middle-weight competitor. He was selected to represent Korea for the Moscow Olympics in 1980 and for the Judo World Cup, but Korea would then go on to boycott both events due to Russia’s war with Afghanistan.
Master Jin was the International Open Weight Champion and the Singapore Open Weight Champion, where he faced competitors heavier than his weight class. As an established coach, he has nurtured many SEA Games and Asian Games medalists, and even an Olympic medalist. Having strong expertise in ground work, he is well-versed in Jiujitsu as well.
